COLOS
COLOS is a new experience for the Cerantola Group, in the field of projecting and realizing furnishing equipment for end users. The focus is to seek an esthetic harmony as a unique result between the different planning variables: shape and function, solidity and efficiency of the material, as well as technology and optimization of the productive process, and all essential aspects to keep the manufacturing entirely in Italy. The first seating collection, named VESPER, consisting of plastic shells on a metal frame, was presented at Salone del Mobile 2014 in Milan, along with the STATO and NODO tables. The following year was the turn of MOMO collection, with the tables TA, completely made in metal and addressed mainly but not only to an outdoor use. This year Colos discloses four new products: the one-piece plastic chair PIAZZA; the two-pieces chair with plastic shell and frame, SPLIT; the C1 collection, a seating family available either in metal, metal and plastic, metal and plastic upholstered with fabric; and to conclude, STECCA, a whole family of seating accommodations which expands the Colos research in the aluminum field.
All the projects are born from the collaboration between the company, with its technical know-how gained along thirty years of history, and emerging designers with different backgrounds and origins. In the 12.000 square meters of production facilities, the designers can rely on a good structure to convert their innovative ideas into reliable, well-made products, with a cost-effective price and genuine Italian manufacturing quality
